Workshop #1 - a research of materials

We had our first workshop at the school. We were divided into groups and each group got there own material to study. After doing the research of the material in a small scale, we had two days to build the final model in "real scale". The materials were concrete, glas, composits, metal and wood.

Vincent Moon update!

So after putting two and two together I found out that Vincent moon is one of the guys behind La Blogotheque. A site I've stumpled upon a great deal of times. The clip with Arcade Fire in the buttom of the blog is from the very same blog. So now you know if you didn't allready :)

Vincent Moons - temporary copenhagen

This is one of the most fantastic and enthusiastic videos I have ever seen. I've been reading about this collaboration on the internet for a while now and all of a sudden there it was! It's directed by Vincent Moon, a french fellow who have also made a movie about Arcade Fire. Apparently he likes danish music as well. It's a one take video of 9 different groups all cramped into a small appartment in copenhagen.

Progress of "A Good Cup"

So.. For a while now I've been wanting to post this, but never came around to it. I wanted to share some of my sketches for this drawing I made for my sisters birthday a few months back.

And there you have it.. first part of the drawing. The star wars spaceship, the boy in the boat and the steamy cup was something I added from previous drawings, and the rest was freestyling. It took me just under four weeks to complete. But I'm really excited about the result.

This was a gift I made for my sisters birthday. I didn't know exactly what I wanted to make, but I had a few ideas in my head. The overall thing was to make it sweet, but not to sweet.

So, happy birthdsy sis! :)

I love details part3

pen on paper (21 x 29cm) You can't really plan a drawing like this. You just draw one thing and that leads to another, then you put the drawing away for a while, then you find it again and ad more details untill there's no more paper to draw on.
